This is an easy way to add another line of security to a Snitz site. Currently using 3.40.06 version. The file pop_config_help.asp did not match because of the changes from 3.04.05 to 3.04.06, however the text to replace was easy to locate after printing the file.

In the readhe.html file it says Database Changes Login to the admin area and run the dbs file "GateKeeper AntiSpam Mod V1.0 for Snitz 3.4.05 Compatible THe problem is that I can't find this file in the download... Suggestions anyone? Best, Robert

From tons of spammer attempts to register to zero spam - this mod works great. New user continue to register without any complaint. I'm very happy with it.

This little beauty keeps out the machines that spam your site. The hardest part is thinking up the question that anyone can answer!

Nice mod to keep automated / robot registrations out by asking a simple question.
1. Registering accounts automatically
2. Posting link spam automatically
3. Emailing your members automatically
It does this by asking the user to answer a unique question which the forum admin can set in the admin area. This is called a CAPTCHA test - Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart. For more information on Captcha's see - http://www.captcha.net/. This mod should be compatible with screenreaders for accessability purposes.
